 |
Great thanks to WOSCA for generously offering their equipment, time and expertise to offer this unique opportunity to CF Raceday participants. Registered drivers are given an exclusive opportunity to choose how they wish to participate. |
| •
|
|
If you
choose to participate, you will receive driving instructions
by a qualified WOSCA member in advance. The course
involves driving your vehicle through a pre-arranged
path marked by pylons. Your run begins when you start
the timer at the starting gate and ends when you pass
the end timer. Your time will be displayed on a large
electronic board at the end gate. |
| •
|
|
As a driver,
you may take your vehicle on several runs and try
to beat your best time.
If you prefer, you may drive shotgun with a professional
WOSCA member in their vehicle |
| •
|
|
All CF
Raceday participants can watch, take pictures and
cheer on their favourite vehicles and drivers from
our observation area. |
| • |
|
This event
is organized under the supervision of experienced
WOSCA members and is run under the general competition
rules of the Canadian Autosport Clubs (CASC), the
Canadian motorsport governing body. |
| • |
|
WOSCA is
a full member of the national CASC (Canadian Automobile
Sports Clubs) organization. |
| •
|
|
WOSCA
organizes and participates in Solo I events ('one
car at a time' timed runs on a race track), Solo
II events (parking lot slaloms), race track 'lapping
days' and navigational rallies. Several social events
are also held at various times. WOSCA members also
participate in racing at Delaware Speedway and road
racing tracks throughout Ontario and Michigan.
The
gourmet lunch will be served after your WOSCA runs
to refuel your engines! Then relax and bid on your
favorite items at the Silent auction. Soon after,
the silent auction items will be given out to the
lucky bidders. We will also be handing out our gifts
and hearing from a Mom about her 2 ½ year old Cystic
Fibrosis boy. Gifts will be given at the Airport
before we head over to Delaware Speedway for your
hot laps experience!
